Description

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve production mobile applications using Flutter and Dart across iOS, Android, and web.
  • Own the full application lifecycle from concept and design through build, deploy, test, release, and support.
  • Build efficient, reusable, reliable, and maintainable codebases using scalable mobile architecture patterns.
  • Integrate backend services and APIs into mobile applications, including GraphQL and Backend-for-Frontend patterns.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate planning, implementation, debugging, testing, refactoring, and documentation while validating all code before production.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and Figma designs into responsive user interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to performance, responsiveness, stability, rendering, networking, and release workflows.
  • Support native iOS and Android build, signing, configuration, and app store delivery processes.
  • Work closely with product managers, backend engineers, AI teams, and QA engineers to clarify requirements and ensure testing and validation.
  • Contribute to automated testing, code reviews, technical documentation, Git discipline, linting, formatting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping production mobile applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart, including mobile architecture, cross-platform best practices, asynchronous programming, UI architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building and releasing applications for iOS and Android; mobile web experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with agent-first development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding environments.
  • Experience with state management, routing, deep linking, and scalable architecture patterns such as Riverpod, BLoC, go_router, or layered architecture.
  • Experience with Flutter code generation workflows such as freezed, json_serializable, build_runner, or similar tooling.
  • Strong experience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs, especially GraphQL, including queries, mutations, fragments, pagination, caching, and BFF patterns.
  • Experience with authentication flows, Git, code reviews, native build/release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and app store delivery.
  • Familiarity with analytics, observability, crash reporting, feature flags, local storage, caching, offline support, internationalization, localization, accessibility, and responsive UI is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js serverless functions, Hasura, Nhost, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, search, LLMs, embeddings, or supporting backend services is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong product sense, attention to detail, proactive ownership, and clear communication.
  • A sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to go to market successfully within tight deadlines.
  • Startup experience is required.
