Description

  • Design, build, and iterate nutrition codes within the AI-based platform.
  • Manage the full interactive modeling loop from hypothesis to build, evaluate, and refine.
  • Translate raw food data into structured, interpretable intelligence by refining model structures and scoring assumptions.
  • Identify edge cases and test model variations to improve accuracy and real-world relevance.
  • Own the integrity of the Code Library and ensure cross-product consistency as the system’s ground truth.
  • Lead collaborative code-building sessions with external partners to create shared modeling frameworks.
  • Partner with the Product team to document the scientific logic behind the intelligence layer for consumer-facing and B2B experiences.
  • Support team projects by coordinating details, tracking progress, and delivering work on time.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field with deep ingredient and food processing knowledge.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or data-driven role.
  • Strong comfort with math, structured logic, and quantitative decision rules such as thresholds, scoring systems, and rule-based logic.
  • Ability to work within a proprietary computational system, interpret outputs, and refine system behavior.
  • Proven experience supporting or coordinating projects in a team setting.
  • Strong organization and facilitation skills used to support team projects and help others succeed.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and highly reliable communication style.
  • A natural curiosity for identifying edge cases and refining scientific assumptions through rapid iteration.
