Description

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on new and existing features.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.
  • Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on quality considerations.
  • Automate test cases where applicable to improve testing efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance processes and standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  • Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • Certification in Quality Assurance such as ISTQB or CSTE is a plus.
  • Experience with performance testing tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages is preferred.
  • Experience in a remote work environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments is preferred.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles is preferred.
