Description

  • Translate and review content from English into Korean while preserving the original meaning and ensuring readability for the target audience.
  • Work on a range of content types including informational, legal, marketing, product, and support materials.
  • Take ownership of incoming work for the client account and contribute to program success.
  • Perform translation, copy editing, and research tasks as assigned.
  • Apply character restrictions and other project-specific instructions accurately.
  • Use transcreation judgment to communicate the rationale behind language choices when needed.
  • Collaborate on technical UI and customer support content as well as creative titles and synopses.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience translating and reviewing content in the relevant subject matter.
  • Proficiency in marketing, product, legal, and informational content.
  • Strong familiarity with translation and terminology tools.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Native-level fluency in Korean.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to follow instructions, including character limits and formatting requirements.
  • Ability to explain transcreation decisions clearly.
  • Technical knowledge of UI and customer support content.
  • Creative knowledge for synopses and episodic titles.
