Description

  • Review and troubleshoot video content for finished products distributed in target markets worldwide.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in movies and TV shows, including frame rate, subtitling, and audio problems.
  • Take initiative to troubleshoot video and system playback issues and propose short- and long-term solutions.
  • Identify trends in recurring quality issues and communicate findings to relevant teams.
  • Work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and changing environment.
  • Respond quickly and decisively to quality issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate through effective verbal and written communication in support of the localization and QA process.

Requirements

  • Must currently live in Japan and have valid work authorization.
  • High proficiency in English.
  • 1+ years of experience in video editing, troubleshooting, or technical video roles.
  • Excellent ability to research and troubleshoot common technical video errors.
  • Good knowledge of macOS systems.
  • Strong interest in TV shows, movies, and media.
  • Thorough working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio.
  • Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge of subscription video content services and their product offerings is preferred.
  • Multilingual ability is a plus but not required.
