Description

  • Translate and review content from English into Indonesian while preserving the original meaning and ensuring readability for the target audience.
  • Work on marketing and social media content for a global music streaming and entertainment client.
  • Take ownership of incoming work on the account and contribute to the success of the localization program.
  • Use Smartling as the CAT tool for translation work.
  • Follow client instructions such as character restrictions and other content-specific requirements.
  • Communicate the rationale behind translation choices clearly and effectively.
  • Translate and review content as needed, covering both production and quality review tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience translating and reviewing content in marketing and social media subject matter.
  • Native fluency in Indonesian (target language).
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with translation and terminology tools.
  • Ability to both translate and review content.
  • Ability to follow instructions such as character restrictions.
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment is a plus.
  • Expected capacity of 2,000 to 5,000 words per week.
  • Experience with Smartling is expected as the CAT tool used for the role.
