Description

  • Partner with senior Product and Investment Research leadership to define the product’s value proposition and “right to win” in the Wealth Management category.
  • Own the Wealth Management narrative and architecture, clarifying how Self-Directed Investing, Custom, Signature, and Advice fit together as a single investing journey.
  • Lead positioning, segmentation, and messaging across multi-product portfolios to inform product experiences, lifecycle marketing, brand storytelling, and sales/advisor motions.
  • Build and iterate a cross-sell and upgrade engine by partnering with Product Engagement Marketing, Product, and Data to identify intent signals, design upgrade paths, and run continuous experiments.
  • Own GTM strategy for launches and major product iterations, including channel strategy, creative direction, communications plans, and always-on marketing.
  • Run client research and competitive intelligence (Canada + global best practices) and translate insights into roadmap direction and marketing priorities.
  • Define and measure marketing performance and benchmarks to raise trust through clearer performance storytelling, education, and transparency.
  • Lead cross-functional operating rhythm with Product, Investment Research, Growth, Brand, Comms, and Data to set priorities, align stakeholders, and measure impact.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product marketing (PMM) team, setting standards for craft, coaching, and execution excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product marketing / go-to-market roles in technology-led organizations.
  • Meaningful experience with investing, wealth, or finance products is required.
  • 8+ years owning PMM strategy end-to-end (segmentation, positioning, GTM, lifecycle) across multi-product portfolios.
  • Proven track record driving measurable growth outcomes (e.g., upgrades, net deposits/AUM, conversion, retention) through experimentation and insight-led strategy.
  • 2+ years leading PMMs or cross-functional GTM workstreams; people management preferred and strong matrix leadership required.
  • Experience partnering deeply with Product and Research/Investment teams to influence roadmap and define product differentiation.
  • Comfort operating in regulated environments and ability to make complex concepts simple, compliant, and human.
  • High craft bar across narrative, messaging, and execution with willingness to both set strategy and execute as an individual contributor.
  • Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing and product initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a bias toward action.
