Description

  • Concept, script, and edit short-form video content with strong hooks and cliffhangers.
  • Develop content across genres including humor, romance, action, thrillers, and drama.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and art directors on character-driven social content.
  • Create series promos, trailers, and explainer videos that connect fans to WEBTOON’s universe.
  • Produce expressive animations using comic panels to enhance characters, worlds, and themes.
  • Move between polished motion design and quick-turn social videos as needed.
  • Bring an original storytelling point of view to ads and content that feel native to each platform.
  • Stay current on fan culture, animation trends, memes, and narrative formats popular with Gen Z and Millennials.
  • Collaborate with Organic and Growth Marketing teams to develop social and digital content.
  • Work closely with operations leads to deliver projects on time, on brand, and on budget.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a creative agency, production company, or in-house entertainment team.
  • Experience with ad content, trailers, branded content, or entertainment marketing is ideal.
  • Strong copywriting and scripting background.
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • General knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
  • Experience with additional animation or VFX tools is preferred.
  • 3D animation experience is a plus.
  • Comfort with character rigging and strong understanding of animation principles.
  • A portfolio or reel showcasing professional motion design and storytelling work.
  • An online presence or portfolio in the webcomic, animation, or fandom space is a plus.
