Description

  • Lead engineering initiatives to design, build, and deploy custom features and workflows for key LATAM clients.
  • Partner with the CAB team and regional stakeholders to understand bespoke client requirements and translate them into technical architectures.
  • Develop integrations between Wati’s platform and local LATAM third-party systems, CRMs, ERPs, and payment gateways.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of custom-built solutions in specialized enterprise environments.
  • Iterate rapidly on custom deployments and troubleshoot client-specific technical issues.
  • Provide engineering support for critical LATAM accounts.
  • Improve internal tooling and frameworks to speed up delivery of custom client solutions.
  • Work closely with product managers and regional teams to align engineering execution with client needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or custom solutions development.
  • Proven experience building scalable API integrations and working with complex system architectures.
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in Portuguese.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple custom projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing client requirements.
  • Strong product and business intuition with the ability to connect engineering work to client business impact.
  • AI-native mindset, with active use of AI tools or AI agents in development workflows.
