Description

  • Build and maintain deep empathy with labels, operations teams, and global partners through continuous discovery to uncover pain points and improve workflows.
  • Define and communicate long-term vision and roadmap for marketing and automation products aligned to WMG’s catalog strategy.
  • Work in a Product Trio with Engineering and Design to solve complex problems, resolve trade-offs, and manage risks.
  • Author product requirement documents (PRDs) and own execution from ideation through technical delivery.
  • Develop and roll out self-serve tools for marketing teams to enable scalable promotion of the catalog.
  • Drive automation strategy and execute scalable automation solutions for catalog marketing.
  • Partner with marketing teams to translate data into actionable insights and agentic workflows for marketers.
  • Create go-to-market strategies, product positioning, internal messaging, and launch plans to ensure organizational adoption and impact.
  • Continuously monitor product performance, user feedback, and market trends to prioritize improvements and manage technical debt.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to digital media, marketing technology, or AI/high-scale automation systems.
  • Experience working with engineers on system architecture and with executives on business constraints, balancing value, usability, feasibility, and business viability.
  • Proven ability to conduct continuous discovery and user research with labels and operations teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft and tell the product 'Why' for different audiences (developers to senior stakeholders).
  • Experience writing PRDs and driving products through technical delivery to launch.
  • Demonstrated bias for action with experience unblocking teams, making prioritization decisions, and navigating ambiguity in a global business.
  • Experience developing go-to-market plans and driving organizational adoption of new products.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design) and managing analytics-driven optimization.
  • Located in or eligible to work from Ontario or British Columbia (role listed as remote within these regions).

Benefits

  • Base salary range CAD $116,000–$130,000 per year.
  • Eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus.
  • Remote full-time role (posted for Ontario / British Columbia).
