Description

Prepare estimates for commercial security and alarm projects.
Review and evaluate bid documents.
Perform accurate takeoffs for prospective jobs.
Prepare bid sheets and project questions.
Write professional proposals.
Work with project managers to gather information needed to produce firm bids.
Maintain current pricing information from suppliers and contractors.
Uphold company standards for quality, professionalism, customer relations, and conduct.
Complete other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

Must live within 30 minutes of a physical Wachter office.
7+ years of field installation experience.
3+ years of continuous estimating experience.
NICET Level II or higher preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in physical security or alarm field installation environments.
Ability to function effectively as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Proficiency with smartphones, computers, email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs; Excel skills are a plus.
Ability to work remotely with some travel to Lowell, AR for meetings or as required by customers.
