Description

  • Design and implement features end-to-end from concept to production.
  • Own the frontend experience, including layout, interaction, motion, and visual polish.
  • Work directly with engineering and product to iterate quickly.
  • Use AI-powered development tools to ship work at a fast pace.
  • Build polished, interactive implementations from rough ideas without waiting for a detailed spec.
  • Communicate directly and collaborate without unnecessary corporate process.
  • Help shape the product experience in a way that can scale to millions of users.

Requirements

  • Strong frontend experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, or similar technologies.
  • Experience shipping real products, side projects, or experiments and explaining your decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Ability to own work end-to-end and solve problems independently.
  • Strong taste and aesthetic judgment for evaluating and improving interfaces.
  • Ability to move from rough concept to polished implementation.
  • Daily use of AI tools to accelerate development, including prompting and iteration.
  • Understanding of backend fundamentals such as APIs, data flow, and authentication.
  • Experience building motion and interaction that feels good, not just functional.
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools for rapid prototyping (preferred).
  • Care about accessibility (preferred).
  • Interest in fiction, worldbuilding, or creative projects (preferred).
