Description

  • Support energy market operations across revenue planning, financial reporting, market changes, product development, and customer-facing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain data management processes and optimize how market data is handled.
  • Manage one or more programs, including forecasting, registrations, market invoicing, customer settlement, and financial reporting.
  • Assist with the registration and enrollment of demand response assets into utility and grid operator programs.
  • Develop analytical tools to support Sales and Marketing needs.
  • Define and improve processes and procedures for daily execution, market commitments, and data management.
  • Work across Sales, Finance, Product, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs to improve portfolio profitability and market execution.
  • Translate knowledge of demand response and distributed energy resources into messaging for sales and regulatory advocacy.
  • Support market-facing activities and collaborate with internal stakeholders during continental US business hours.
  • Grow into market strategy development and regulatory advocacy support.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in the demand-side energy industry.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the demand-side energy industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in the energy and/or climate space.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to project manage week-long processes involving multiple teams.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment while juggling several business-critical tasks per week.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and visualize large-scale data in Python.
  • Ability to work remotely from the US or Canada and hold meetings during continental US business hours.
  • Authorization to work from the home location without visa sponsorship or transfer.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $90,000-$105,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience.
