Description

  • Analyze datasets and translate raw data into actionable insights that support business improvement strategies.
  • Handle data batches, apply labeling techniques, and manipulate data according to project requirements with high accuracy.
  • Oversee the quality of training data, identify issues or anomalies, and implement corrective measures to maintain data integrity.
  • Provide translations and contextual understanding to ensure data aligns with language and cultural nuances.
  • Offer recommendations to improve business processes and outcomes based on data analysis.
  • Research and analyze data for entities, tools, and datasets introduced through on-the-job training.
  • Review and assess data using logical and analytical judgment to support project goals.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write in English and Catalan.
  • Proficiency in Catalan.
  • Some experience in data labeling, data manipulation, or quality assurance, particularly in technology or related fields.
  • Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills for interpreting complex datasets and deriving meaningful insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data quality issues.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in typing and writing.
  • Must have own device, such as a laptop or desktop.
  • Must have reliable high-speed internet and a functioning device from day one.
  • Must be available to work in IST, preferably from 8:00 a.m. IST onward.
  • Certification as a Linguist is a plus.

  • USD $9 to $10 per hour compensation.
  • Remote freelance, task-based work that can provide supplemental income.
  • Flexible schedule with 0 to 20 hours per week depending on task volume.
  • Independent contractor arrangement (1099 for U.S.-based classification, with W-8 BEN for many non-U.S. candidates).
