Description

  • Analyze datasets and translate raw data into actionable insights that support business improvement strategies.
  • Handle data batches, apply labeling techniques, and manipulate data according to project requirements.
  • Oversee the quality of training data, identify issues or anomalies, and implement corrective measures to maintain data integrity.
  • Provide translations and contextual understanding to align data with language and cultural nuances.
  • Offer recommendations to improve business processes and outcomes based on data analysis.
  • Transcribe and annotate audio or video files according to project guidelines when transcription work is assigned.
  • Work on tasks as they become available and complete them on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Communicate and receive task notifications through WhatsApp, email, or Slack after onboarding.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write in both Norwegian and English.
  • Available for freelance, task-based work with irregular or intermittent hours.
  • Must be available in IST, preferably from 8:00 a.m. IST onward.
  • Must have reliable high-speed internet and a functioning device such as a laptop or desktop.
  • Must have strong logical reasoning and analytical skills for interpreting complex datasets.
  • Must have experience with data labeling, data manipulation, or quality assurance, preferably in technology or related fields.
  • Must have excellent listening, comprehension, and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong computer skills, particularly in typing and writing.
  • Must have meticulous attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Certified Linguist status is a plus.
  • Experience with transcription is preferred if applying for related work.

Benefits

  • Hourly compensation of $7.00 to $13.00 per hour.
  • Remote freelance 1099 independent contractor work.
  • Flexible task-based schedule with 0 to 20 hours per week.
