Description

  • Architect and improve technical security operations as part of a growing information security program.
  • Drive SIEM implementation, including log ingestion, tuning, and evidence integration across product and enterprise technologies.
  • Detect, investigate, and resolve security events and incidents to reduce impact and recovery time.
  • Lead the technical incident response lifecycle as Incident Commander, including for the product environment.
  • Perform forensics and deliver comprehensive post-incident analysis.
  • Create and maintain incident response runbooks and automate response processes.
  • Support the broader security posture through code reviews and implementation of technical controls.
  • Build security checks into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Collaborate with development teams to remediate software vulnerabilities when needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product-facing SOC Analyst, Incident Responder, or Security Engineer in a SaaS or e-commerce environment.
  • Proven ability to act as Incident Commander in the technical incident response lifecycle, preferably in a high-uptime SaaS/e-commerce product environment.
  • Experience leading forensics and driving SIEM implementation and tuning.
  • Track record of taking end-to-end ownership in a fast-paced environment and building processes from the ground up.
  • Proficiency in any programming language for scripting, security tooling development, and automating GRC evidence collection.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in Terraform for securing infrastructure.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience integrating security testing and independently performing investigations across the full tech stack.
  • Nice to have: Experience preventing rent-seeking attacks such as cybersquatting, sneaker bots, scalping, or grinch bots.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Red Team operations and/or penetration testing.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical field.
