Description

  • Partner with engineering teams to promote security-by-design and improve the overall security posture.
  • Coordinate and execute threat modeling, red teaming, penetration testing, and other security assessments across applications and infrastructure.
  • Lead risk-based vulnerability triage and remediation using approaches such as EPSS and AI-assisted testing.
  • Design and automate SAST, DAST, secret scanning, and other security guardrails within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct detailed code and configuration reviews and promote secure coding practices.
  • Secure web applications, APIs, Kubernetes environments, cloud infrastructure, and GitOps deployments.
  • Build and establish AppSec processes, tooling, and security culture across the global engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of dedicated Security Engineering experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS, e-commerce, or fintech environment.
  • Deep understanding of web and API attack vectors and secure cloud workloads across Kubernetes and AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience analyzing complex SaaS business logic to identify and validate attack paths.
  • Proven ability to independently drive security initiatives from conception through completion.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language for scripting and security tool development.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with PCI DSS security requirements (preferred).
  • Experience in red/purple team operations and advanced penetration testing (preferred).
  • Hands-on Terraform experience for infrastructure-as-code security (preferred).
  • Familiarity with GCP, Golang, and TypeScript (preferred).
