Description

Own ambiguous design problems end to end across multiple concurrent projects.
Serve as the primary design contact for engagements, shaping UX at kickoff and transitioning ownership to project teams as work matures.
Define interaction patterns for agent-driven experiences, including agent interactions, response structures, action chains, and error handling.
Extend the design system and component library to strengthen reusable patterns.
Create design prototypes with Product Managers in Figma, Claude, or code to establish project design frameworks.
Lead UX reviews of features, agent responses, generated UI, and layouts before release.
Use workflows, journey maps, and service maps to support design rationale and align cross-functional partners.
Shape scope, timelines, and alignment with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success.
Mentor junior designers and raise the quality of design critique.

Requirements

5–8 years of product design experience with a track record of shipping well-designed products.
Portfolio with at least three case studies or highlighted projects demonstrating complex problem-solving, mid-project adjustments, and cross-functional collaboration.
Proficiency in Figma, including component-driven architecture, variables, and interactive prototypes.
Ability to independently lead ambiguous design problems with minimal direction.
Strong UX, UI, visual design, interaction design, and accessibility fundamentals.
Experience extending and growing design systems.
Ability to use workflows and mapping to justify design decisions.
Experience designing AI-native, agentic, or conversational products (preferred).
Experience with data-dense enterprise or analytics products, shared design support across multiple teams, or defense, government, or critical-infrastructure environments (preferred).
Fluency with AI design tools such as Claude and Figma Make, working knowledge of front-end concepts, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (preferred).
