Description

  • Engage customers on security-related products, architectures, and risk topics across the Veeam Data Platform.
  • Run readiness checks and lead data modeling to validate solution design and accelerate decisions.
  • Monitor attack surfaces, vulnerabilities, telemetry, and recurring inspection signals, and report trends and health-check opportunities.
  • Validate designs to de-risk adoption and speed time to value.
  • Identify and articulate expansion opportunities by reviewing consumption trends and scheduling checkpoint reviews.
  • Engage CISO, CIO, and other senior stakeholders in risk, status, and opportunity discussions.
  • Support account executives on security- and AI-driven expansion motions and collaborate with customer success engineers on roadmap priorities.
  • Operate as a pooled resource across Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts, with a focus on security success coverage.
  • Partner with customer success engineers to synthesize account health inputs and QBR outcomes into actionable next steps.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering or architecting cybersecurity, data security, or AI/ML-driven platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM; AI security or governance certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in data security and governance, including DSPM and DLP, with experience securing data across cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AI security, governance, or emerging AI platforms such as Securiti AI or similar solutions.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML architectures and model lifecycles, including training pipelines, deployment, inference controls, and security risks such as prompt injection and data leakage.
  • Experience with AI/data observability, telemetry, and monitoring across traditional systems and AI-driven workloads.
  • Ability to engage CISO, CIO, and CDO stakeholders on AI risk, data governance, resilience, and enterprise AI adoption strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with solution design, proofs of concept, and maturity modeling; experience with DRMM or similar data/AI trust maturity models is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and regulatory landscapes such as NIST AI RMF, the EU AI Act, and ISO standards.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • VMCE certification, which can be completed after joining.
