Description

  • Design, build, and ship an identity search platform using TypeScript, React, Tailwind, and Node.js.
  • Partner with customers, mission owners, designers, and engineers to understand user workflows and improve solutions.
  • Implement and maintain search and agentic AI systems for high-scale tabular and graph data.
  • Work across the full product stack, including data extraction and ingestion, backend storage, indexing, APIs, frontend, and AI analysis agents.
  • Build applications used daily by warfighters and intelligence analysts for mission-critical work.
  • Develop features for information distillation, analysis, and visualization to enable rapid assessment of the information environment.
  • Transform complex intelligence requirements into intuitive, mission-ready workflows.
  • Help define and shape the future direction of the product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, and AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major search engine, such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
  • Prior experience working in a user-facing product role.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one, preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to visit users, collect feedback, and debug issues, preferred.
  • Prior experience developing AI-native products, preferred.
  • Understanding of search concepts such as indexing, ranking, query parsing, and tokenization, preferred.
  • Role is also open to staff+ candidates.
