Description

  • Lead and develop engineers working on borrower-facing flows, backend services, and platform capabilities.
  • Partner with product, design, analytics, operations, legal, and compliance stakeholders to define roadmaps and shape requirements.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that expand access to auto-secured lending and enable new product capabilities.
  • Set execution priorities, remove blockers, and build effective delivery mechanisms that improve speed, quality, and reliability.
  • Use data to identify funnel bottlenecks, evaluate tradeoffs, and guide investments that improve conversion, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Coach engineers and technical leaders to grow team capability over time.
  • Build an inclusive team culture grounded in ownership and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience building and operating production software systems, including distributed systems or cloud-based applications.
  • 3+ years of experience managing software engineers.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering initiatives from planning through production launch.
  • Experience working on customer-facing products with measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with product, design, and non-engineering stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience delivering products in fintech or another regulated industry (preferred).
  • Ability to use metrics and experimentation to identify opportunities and make product and engineering tradeoffs (preferred).
  • Experience leading teams through periods of rapid product or organizational growth (preferred).
  • Experience supporting both new product development and ongoing platform or systems improvements (preferred).

  • Anticipated base salary range of $195,300 to $270,400 USD for U.S. remote locations.
  • Target bonuses and equity compensation, including annual equity grants that vest quarterly.
