Description

  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver customer-focused products.
  • Own and develop new customer-facing features end to end.
  • Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
  • Work in a cross-functional team that ships iteratively and quickly.
  • Help present and model data in intelligent and creative ways for security use cases.
  • Explore and learn the cybersecurity domain and internet-scale problem space.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant engineering experience at tech-centric, product-driven companies.
  • Experience with JavaScript, React, and other web technologies.
  • Proficiency with a backend language; Go is used at UpGuard.
  • Proficiency with relational databases; Postgres is used at UpGuard.
  • Curious about new technologies, particularly AI and LLMs, for developer productivity and customer experience.
  • Ability to make pragmatic trade-offs between technical quality and business needs.
  • Interest in shaping product features that improve user experience and create impact.
  • Experience in cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Comfort building complex applications and systems from the ground up with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with React, Go, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
