Description

  • Work alongside testers, translators, and developers to identify and report linguistic issues in games.
  • Test games using Universally Speaking’s localisation quality assurance methods.
  • Review every word, menu, phrase, and in-game message for language accuracy and naturalness.
  • Log issues clearly in professional bug databases and track them through to resolution.
  • Verify fixes to confirm they meet quality standards.
  • Write, refine, and document test cases and findings.
  • Own projects and manage the full testing cycle from start to finish.
  • Collaborate early with developers and testers to shape localisation testing and improvement.
  • Look for and implement faster, smarter ways to improve workflows and share knowledge.

Requirements

  • Passion for games and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on testing environment.
  • Clear written reporting and documentation skills for issue tracking.
  • Interest in or willingness to develop experience in localisation quality assurance.
  • Interest in translation technology and project management.
  • Ability to work full time Monday to Friday.
  • Comfort working in an international, collaborative team.
  • Motivation to learn from real-world LQA experience and grow into a specialist role.
