Description

  • Design, develop, and deploy production-grade backend services and distributed systems for large-scale online model inference.
  • Drive technical direction for the inference platform, with emphasis on low-latency and high-throughput serving infrastructure.
  • Partner with ML engineers to ensure serving infrastructure scales with model complexity and inference volume.
  • Monitor and improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of production systems using observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP.
  • Orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes in a high-scale production environment.
  • Promote best practices for backend development, testing, deployment, and monitoring across DevOps and SRE practices.

Requirements

  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining distributed systems at scale.
  • Expertise in Golang for high-performance, low-latency backend infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on GCP and workload orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Strong grounding in monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience in ad tech, recommender systems, real-time personalization, or another performance-critical domain.
  • Familiarity with microservice architectures, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Familiarity with machine learning platforms, workflows, and serving infrastructure.
  • Experience with ML inference servers such as NVIDIA Triton Inference Server (preferred).
  • Familiarity with auction mechanics or bidding systems in an ad tech context (preferred).
  • Experience using AI as a strategic advantage in engineering while following best practices for code quality and security (preferred).
  • Strong English communication skills for frequent professional verbal and written exchanges with global colleagues and partners.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
