Description

  • Provide Khmer-English interpretation support during scheduled operational shifts.
  • Work from home on a rotational night-shift schedule set by the operations team.
  • Complete the initial training period, including 3 weeks of day shifts followed by 4 weeks of night shifts.
  • Participate in the English assessment, native language assessment, and training process before joining operations.
  • Use a personal laptop or desktop device for online assessment, training, and operational work.
  • Use a personal mobile phone as a backup device for operational purposes.
  • Follow the assigned working days, which may be 5 to 6 days per week.
  • Request team leader approval before undertaking overtime work.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work from home and be located in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, or Cambodia.
  • Khmer and English language proficiency is required for interpretation work.
  • Must have a cable modem or fiber optic Wi-Fi connection; broadband and mobile data are not accepted.
  • Internet speed must meet at least 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload, ping under 50 ms, and jitter under 30 ms.
  • Must have a laptop, MacBook, or Chromebook with a webcam/camera for assessment, training, and operations.
  • Device operating system must meet platform requirements: Windows 11 version 23H2, macOS 12 or above, or ChromeOS updated to the current version.
  • Must keep antivirus software and internet browser updated, and Kaspersky products are not allowed.
  • Must have a mobile phone running Android 13 or above or iOS 16 or above for backup use.
  • Huawei devices, Samsung A Series, iPad C tablets, iPhone 6 and below are not accepted.
  • Must be willing to work mandatory rotational night shifts starting anytime from 8pm to 12am Malaysia time.

Benefits

  • Monthly salary starting from RM4,800 or RM30 per hour.
  • Overtime pay is available with prior team leader approval.
  • Full-time 12-month contract with renewal subject to performance.
  • Remote work-from-home arrangement.
