Description

  • Partner with sales leadership to define strategy for finding, closing, and supporting opportunities in the sales funnel and existing customer base.
  • Work cross-functionally to align collaboration, shared goals, and team capacity.
  • Build and launch programs that help Solutions Engineers scale and accelerate the funnel.
  • Attract, develop, motivate, and coach a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers.
  • Provide day-to-day mentoring, guidance, and support to ensure team success.
  • Lead the technical strategy for how Solutions Engineers support new sign-ups and deploy the team effectively.
  • Use data to measure outcomes, communicate results, and inform decisions.
  • Set clear expectations, remove obstacles, and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product, Support, Sales, Operations, Legal, Security, Engineering, and other teams to support customer success.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in SaaS or CPaaS, including a BS in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, or equivalent experience as a senior individual contributor or lead.
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams and leading by example.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate strategic vision and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on problem-solving approach with willingness to address customer blocking issues directly.
  • Strong understanding of the developer adoption cycle and experience in contact centre, IP-based telephony, messaging, real-time communications, security, authentication, email, and scaling web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, plus cloud application architecture.
  • Experience with sales methodologies.
  • Cross-functional experience in pre-sales or post-sales technical consulting, software engineering, or product management is a plus.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and proactively solving problems.
