Description

  • Own the end-to-end user journey strategy for Twilio Email inside the core One Console, including foundational interaction standards for complex configurations and authentication workflows.
  • Lead cross-channel UX harmonization across Messaging, Voice, and Email to create unified configuration and observability experiences.
  • Define the long-term UX roadmap and structural evolution of the SendGrid platform to support enterprise deliverability and marketing workflows.
  • Build strategic partnerships with Product Directors and Engineering VPs to influence product direction and align technical trade-offs with user outcomes.
  • Define the design framework for observability, telemetry, delivery event logs, and diagnostic dashboards that support deliverability monitoring.
  • Drive the evolution of the design system by creating reusable email primitives and scalable patterns.
  • Mentor and multiply the impact of L3 designers and cross-functional teams across the Channels UX organization.
  • Translate ambiguous initiatives and fragmented journeys into a clear strategic product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional product design experience shipping complex, data-heavy B2B SaaS platforms, developer tools, infrastructure products, or enterprise communication platforms.
  • A world-class portfolio demonstrating strong systems thinking, cross-product workflow mapping, complex data architecture, and unified platform experiences.
  • Proven experience influencing product strategy at the Director and VP level and shaping multi-year product roadmaps.
  • Experience translating abstract technical primitives such as APIs, SDK integrations, or distributed data layers into developer-friendly mental models.
  • Experience mentoring designers, building design frameworks, and driving structural change in a scaling UX organization.
  • Curiosity about AI-powered tools and workflows, with the ability to use emerging technologies thoughtfully to improve speed, quality, and impact.
  • Extensive practical experience designing interfaces for technical builders such as APIs, CLIs, SDKs, or developer management consoles is preferred.
  • Deep expertise in designing monitoring systems, log viewers, anomaly detection interfaces, or high-density analytical dashboards is preferred.
  • Deep familiarity with email delivery infrastructure, DNS/SPF/DKIM domain management, transactional communication protocols, or SendGrid is preferred.
  • Full-time, US-based remote work eligibility; this role is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, or WA.
