Description

Own automation coverage for assigned squad services.
Build fast-turnaround regression suites that gate weekly deployments.
Drive rapid defect detection, reporting, and root-cause isolation.
Maintain quality signals in minutes, not days, through efficient test execution.
Develop load, stress, and soak testing for high-throughput, low-latency systems.
Create contract and API tests between services.
Generate synthetic data and traffic for repeatable real-time testing.
Test event-driven, WebSocket, and browser-extension workflows.
Wire tests into trunk-based CI/CD and manage test flakiness.
Collaborate closely with developers to debug failures and resolve issues quickly.

Requirements

5+ years of SDET experience.
Hands-on automation coding experience in Go or Python; manual scripting is not sufficient.
Strong root-cause debugging and issue-isolation ability.
Experience with load, stress, and soak testing in high-load environments.
Experience testing event-driven systems, WebSocket flows, and browser extensions.
Experience with contract/API testing between services.
CI/CD and trunk-based development experience.
Comfort with AI tools and AI-assisted test generation; testing AI/LLM outputs is a strong plus.
Familiarity with LLMs, SLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, agents, training, and eval is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-moving, startup-style environment with weekly deploys and 1-week sprints.
