Description

  • Collaborate with sales and delivery to develop client proposals, solution options, and roadmaps, and clearly explain technical concepts to facilitate decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to sponsor-level client stakeholders, consultatively leading discussions on complex technical concepts and design implications.
  • Lead large-scale technical requirements elicitation, design, and scoping discussions both internally and with clients.
  • Decompose large-scale requirements and user stories into tasks and provide accurate effort estimates for self and others.
  • Demonstrate project leadership across multi-workstream, large-scale projects with global teams, ensuring delivery and coordination.
  • Identify problems independently, take ownership of solutions, evaluate others’ proposals, and delegate ownership when appropriate.
  • Proactively raise and articulate risks to the PM, project delivery team, and internal leadership, and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in client-level communications about solutions, risks, and mitigation approaches at the sponsor/executive level.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Agile delivery and adaptability to client methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • 5+ years leading consulting projects for large clients across eight or more of these domains: Azure Compute (PaaS & Containers), Data Stores (fit-for-purpose selection), Messaging & Events, API Design & Management, Integration & APIs, AI & Search, SDLC, DevOps/Platform Engineering, Performance/Scalability/Reliability & Release, Identity & Access (application-centric), Monitoring & Observability, and fluency in Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • 5+ years leading consulting projects for large clients with expertise in six or more of these tools/technologies: design patterns and architectural concepts, .NET Core/C#, front-end (Angular/React/Blazor), mobile (Flutter/React Native), ORM (Entity Framework/Dapper), data storage, CI/CD & IaC, Visual Studio, source control, automated testing, and Agile practices.
  • 3+ Microsoft Azure certifications in Application Development & DevOps, AI & Machine Learning, and/or Architecture & Development (AZ204, AZ400, AZ102 highly recommended).
  • Proven, repeatable track record of successful large-scale project delivery.
  • Ability to architect and set standards for highly complex solutions using a variety of technologies, platforms, and integrations.
  • Demonstrated capability for effective project leadership on a variety of project types, including multi-workstream global engagements.
  • Desire and ability to continuously learn and adapt to changing technology.
  • Willingness to participate in client-facing advisory and executive-level stakeholder interactions.
  • Must reside in one of the following U.S. locations: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington D.C., Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
