Description

  • Record 1,000 short video clips following provided ASL or BASL prompts.
  • Complete voice-assistant-style commands, everyday phrases, common requests, and conversational prompts on camera.
  • Follow recording setup instructions for sitting or standing position, device placement, and lighting.
  • Upload completed videos according to project instructions.
  • Participate in onboarding and periodic check-ins throughout the project.
  • Work independently while meeting project timelines and delivery expectations.

Requirements

  • Fluent in ASL or BASL, or at least 2 semesters of college ASL.
  • Use ASL or BASL daily.
  • Minimum proficiency in reading and writing English.
  • Access to an Apple device, such as an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, or iMac.
  • Reliable internet connection.
  • Comfortable using a device camera and following step-by-step instructions.
  • Ability to record videos at home in a remote setting.
  • Additional tools or software may be provided if needed, such as MacOS foot pedals for hands-free recording.
