Description

  • Develop and maintain fullstack features with an estimated 60% front-end (TypeScript/React) and 40% back-end (Golang) focus.
  • Translate product requirements into technical designs and implementation in collaboration with engineers, Product Management, and Program Management.
  • Write clean, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code while making trade-off decisions between quality, performance, and delivery speed.
  • Collaborate closely with UX, Design, and Experimentation teams to build and maintain a seamless front-end web payment experience.
  • Integrate and work with payment processing partners and gateways to identify and implement new workflows and alternative payment methods or flexible scheduling.
  • Design, extend, and operate payments-focused systems, products, and infrastructure to process financial transactions safely and consistently.
  • Participate in hiring and interviewing to help grow the engineering team.
  • Monitor industry trends and introduce appropriate technical innovations and best practices, applying patterns and avoiding anti-patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Developer.
  • Proven experience with TypeScript and React (similar front-end experience also considered).
  • Experience with Golang for back-end development.
  • Experience working in cloud-native environments, AWS preferred.
  • High autonomy with the ability to meet deadlines and deliverables with little oversight.
  • Experience in payments technology preferred; experience with high-throughput or mission-critical systems is valuable.
  • High degree of professional fluency in English and Spanish, able to switch between languages for technical discussions.
  • Candidates must be based in Mexico or Argentina.

Benefits

  • Base salary range: $61,900 - $74,300 USD per year (actual pay varies by location, skills, and experience).
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO).

  • Remote work within supported locations (Mexico or Argentina).
