Description

  • Develop and maintain streaming services, microservices, and serverless architectures to support high-volume messaging.
  • Build and extend communication infrastructure for an omnichannel platform that manages outbound messages and notifications.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
  • Identify, articulate, and help address technical debt across the system.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support production stability.
  • Lead code reviews and promote best practices, maintainable code, and thorough testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
  • Stay current with industry trends and introduce new techniques or technologies that add technical value.
  • Make design trade-offs and contribute to technical roadmaps for complex initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Significant experience with Golang (preferred).
  • Experience with distributed serverless architecture and cloud platforms, especially AWS Lambda (preferred).
  • Experience with infrastructure tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency with Docker or other container orchestration platforms.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, data structures, and software design patterns.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership of complex initiatives.
  • Experience proactively identifying inefficient code and anticipating failures before they occur.
