Description

  • Design, implement, and administer Splunk ITSI environments for federal customers.
  • Integrate Splunk ITSI with the customer’s larger enterprise Splunk environment and other tools.
  • Create meaningful glass tables and views using ITSI data.
  • Perform advanced ITSI configuration, including Entity Integrations, Service Insights, and Event Analytics.
  • Maintain and administer enterprise Splunk ITSI installations.
  • Develop and support distributed Splunk ITSI deployments from the ground up.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to manage expectations and track engagement scope.
  • Provide technical support and knowledge sharing through workshops, documentation, and internal community resources.

Requirements

  • Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Administrator certification.
  • 6-8 years of relevant market experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with Splunk ITSI.
  • Splunk Architect Certification or higher ITSI certification.
  • Experience designing and implementing ground-up distributed Splunk ITSI installations.
  • Experience with advanced Splunk ITSI configuration, including Entity Integrations, Service Insights, and Event Analytics.
  • Experience developing custom ITSI Glass Tables.
  • Experience working in Linux and Windows environments, including storage subsystems, SELinux, FAPolicyd, and file permissions.
  • Familiarity with Linux distributions such as RedHat, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working with multiple customers.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal customer role.
  • Preferred: Splunk Core Consultant Certification.
  • Preferred: Experience with AWS, Azure, Cribl, Syslog, and Axonius.
  • Preferred: Understanding of Syslog-NG and RSyslog configuration principles.
  • Preferred: Development and API experience with Python, Perl, and XML.
  • Preferred: Experience with Ansible, Spacewalk, SAN, NAS, and enterprise automation tools.
  • Preferred: Experience with Government CDM Programs.
  • Preferred: Experience extracting value from data and establishing security use cases.
  • Preferred: Experience in collaborative enterprise environments and with standardized practices and documentation.
