Description

  • Provide technical expertise to plan, analyze, define, and support secure cloud-based application delivery.
  • Guide continuous review and improvement of existing cloud components and security integrations.
  • Facilitate technical solution and design discussions, complete proof of concepts, and develop non-functional requirements.
  • Manage the creation and quality of technical deliverables.
  • Develop processes that support successful cloud operations and application management.
  • Integrate security operations across cloud-focused mission activities to improve resilience and end-to-end security.
  • Perform cloud security engineering work for the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of cloud provider and cloud-based services.
  • Conduct system audits and vulnerability assessments, including reviews of user accounts, application access, file integrity, and external web integrity scans.
  • Support risk management, authorization, change management, and continuous monitoring activities for new and existing capabilities.
  • Assist customers in designing, implementing, and documenting security controls to enable initial authorization and rapid application deployment.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree, or at least 4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with leadership, peers, and team members.
  • Must be approved to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with cloud architecture, engineering, migration, and security, including FedRAMP IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
  • Experience with cloud-based Computer Network Defense (CND).
  • Experience with cloud automation and scripting, including auto-scale, Azure Resource Manager, scripting, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) practices under Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Experience implementing NIST 800-53 security controls for U.S. Government networks and applications.
  • AWS and/or Azure certifications preferred.
  • Active clearance, or the ability and willingness to submit for a clearance/background investigation process.
  • Experience with cloud provider services such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, and cloud-based services such as Office 365.
  • Experience using automation and configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Unix/Linux Shell, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with network and infrastructure design and build.
