Description

  • Analyze financial performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Build financial models to support planning, pricing, and growth decisions.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Maintain oversight of financial operations and internal controls.
  • Partner with leadership to improve financial discipline and visibility.
  • Review financial data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Support improvements to financial processes, reporting structures, and controls.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Background in finance, financial analysis, or financial management.
  • Experience in a B2B agency, professional services, or service-based business is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and pattern recognition.
  • Comfort with financial reporting, controls, and high-level financial oversight.
  • Ability to operate independently and take full ownership of workstreams.
  • Confident communicator who can explain financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Leadership mindset with the ambition to grow into increased responsibility.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel or financial modeling skills are preferred.
  • Exposure to scaling businesses or high-growth environments, or experience partnering directly with founders or senior leadership, is preferred.
