Description

  • Refactor a Python-based optimization algorithm using object-oriented programming.
  • Apply data science methods to solve supply chain and optimization problems in retail and CPG.
  • Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to generate actionable pricing insights.
  • Develop predictive models and optimization algorithms to improve pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices in data science, replenishment optimization, and supply chain management.
  • Partner with and help coach a growing team of data scientists.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on supply chain optimization and inventory allocation.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience using mathematical programming solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR-Tools.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling concepts.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries.
  • Ability to apply analytical models to business use cases.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with business stakeholders.
  • Experience explaining solutions to non-technical business partners.
  • Experience in pricing analytics within supply chains (preferred).
