Description

  • Implement efficient Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and integrate them with enterprise data infrastructure.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, robust real-time data streaming pipelines using cloud and streaming technologies.
  • Develop data domains and data products for multiple consumption archetypes including reporting, data science, AI/ML, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to define technical problem statements, hypotheses, and operational integration.
  • Ensure reliability, availability, and scalability of data pipelines and systems through monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
  • Implement reliability engineering best practices including redundancy, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment, operation, and maintenance of data systems.
  • Mentor junior team members, engage in communities of practice, and promote best practices, standards, and reusable patterns.
  • Apply AI solutions to insurance-specific data use cases and partner with architects and stakeholders to influence pipeline and AI vision.
  • Stay up to date with industry advancements in AI and apply modern technologies and methodologies to production systems.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience working as a GenAI Data Scientist or in a similar data science role.
  • Experience with Python from a functional programming paradigm, including dependency and virtual environment management and git version control.
  • Experience with sequential algorithms such as LSTM, RNN, and transformer architectures.
  • Experience with cloud ML and model hosting tools such as AWS Bedrock, Hugging Face, JumpStart, and Vertex AI.
  • Experience developing models from inception through deployment and productionization.
  • Expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and transfer learning.
  • Experience with generative algorithms (e.g., GAN, VAE) and using pre-trained models (e.g., LLaMa, SAM).
  • Experience evaluating ethical implications of AI and conducting mitigation activities such as red-teaming.
  • Experience designing and operating real-time data streaming pipelines and working with cloud storage and processing tools (e.g., GCP, S3, Spark Streaming).
