Description

  • Lead development of sophisticated machine learning models, predictive analytics, and statistical analyses to solve complex business problems.
  • Own end-to-end model development including problem definition, data exploration, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code to implement analytical solutions and production-grade models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, software developers, business stakeholders) to integrate ML solutions into business processes.
  • Work closely with clients to understand business objectives, define technical problem statements, formulate hypotheses, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Develop analytical data products and tools that mimic business decisions and deliver scalable solutions in real-world settings.
  • Ensure models deliver business value by driving strategy, monitoring performance, and communicating results to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to and mentor team members on technical approach, implementation best practices, and project execution.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in data science and ML model development.
  • Hands-on involvement across end-to-end project execution, with ownership from problem definition through deployment and monitoring.
  • Passion for writing high-quality, modular, and scalable Python code.
  • Solid understanding of regression, classification, and statistical methods.
  • Proven experience deploying ML models in production using Google Cloud Vertex AI (Training Jobs, Custom Training, Model Registry, Scoring Jobs, Experiment Tracking using TensorBoard).
  • Experience orchestrating ML pipelines using Vertex AI Pipelines (Kubeflow) and/or Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining ML models in production using Vertex AI.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, client-facing communication, and leadership in cross-functional project settings.
