Description

  • Architect, design, and implement enterprise data solutions and best practices on the Azure platform.
  • Define and implement data strategy, data architecture, and governance, including information lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain data engineering pipelines and tools to prepare, extract, and manipulate structured and unstructured data into connected datasets and data warehouses for analytics.
  • Implement and manage BI and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) solutions to support analytics needs.
  • Apply end-to-end data management principles across data ingestion, storage, processing, and serving layers.
  • Collaborate and communicate with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Monitor and manage data platforms and services (e.g., Databricks, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, Stream Analytics) to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Architect and build Azure IoT platforms/apps, leveraging containerization and serverless patterns (preferred).

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Databricks (must have).
  • Extensive experience with Azure IoT-related services: IoT Hub, Azure Device SDK, Device Provisioning Service, and Device Twins.
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Azure Stream Analytics.
  • Knowledge of tools and practices to identify and manage both structured and unstructured data.
  • Proven experience implementing BI and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience defining and implementing data strategy, architecture, governance, and information lifecycle management practices.
  • Strong background in end-to-end data management principles.
  • Experience developing tools and pipelines to prepare, extract, and manipulate data for analytics and data warehousing.
  • Strong technical communication skills and demonstrated teamwork.
  • Preferred: experience architecting and building Azure IoT platforms/apps with exposure to containerization and serverless architectures.
