Description

  • Deliver high-quality English instruction to adult beginner learners in group classes and private one-on-one sessions.
  • Use a bilingual English-Spanish teaching approach to support student understanding.
  • Work within a platform-driven online teaching environment.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with students and the company in both English and Spanish, written and verbal.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process before starting classes.
  • Meet weekly availability requirements, including peak-time hours.
  • Follow structured curriculum and academic guidance provided through the platform.
  • Contribute to curriculum development or content creation where applicable.

Requirements

  • Spanish as a first language with C1/C2 English proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent certification, unless the degree is in English Language Teaching.
  • Minimum 2 years of ESL teaching experience; online teaching experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of the CEFR framework.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish, written and verbal.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Minimum 10 hours of weekly availability, including 5 peak-time hours.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, platform-driven environment.
  • Prior experience teaching on structured online teaching platforms is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted or blended learning environments is highly advantageous.
  • Experience teaching absolute beginner students is highly advantageous.
  • Curriculum development or content contribution experience is highly advantageous.
  • Computer with Intel Core i5 or higher and at least 8GB RAM.
  • High-speed internet with a minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speed, preferably fibre/cabled and connected via LAN cable.
  • UPS backup power sufficient for uninterrupted sessions if power interruptions occur.
  • Noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam.
  • Quiet, private, well-lit dedicated teaching space.
