Description

  • Lead the ideation, creation, and execution of premium video formats.
  • Direct, mentor, and elevate a high-performing team of video producers.
  • Define and maintain a consistent visual voice across sports highlights and analysis.
  • Partner with commercial and revenue teams to align video formats with monetization goals while protecting editorial integrity.
  • Track content performance and use data to drive decisions against business objectives.
  • Stay ahead of social trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platform features.
  • Evaluate and integrate new video technologies, AI tools, and data visualization software into workflows.
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on production support for pilots and breaking news.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders and teams across the organization.
  • Build a robust evergreen content library and develop high-engagement video assets.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in social content creation.
  • Proven success scaling audiences for a major sports network, digital media brand, or agency.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Basic field filming skills, including DSLR or advanced mobile/iPhone production.
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms, content formats, and algorithmic trends, including YouTube, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
  • Strong understanding of community-building and fan engagement beyond clickbait content.
  • Uncompromising journalistic standards and strong editorial judgment.
  • Ability to work across executive strategy and hands-on production.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Preferred exposure to creators, culture, and the YouTube ecosystem.
