Description

  • Own end-to-end billing across advertisers and partners, including invoicing, payouts, and reconciliation across affiliate platforms.
  • Ensure revenue is accurate, traceable, and complete across a complex, multi-party marketplace.
  • Manage accounts payable and expense workflows, including invoice capture, approval, and timely payment.
  • Maintain clean, current books and support the monthly close process.
  • Partner with the Fractional CFO to produce clear reporting and investor-ready outputs.
  • Manage US payroll through Rippling and support core US tax and compliance obligations.
  • Improve finance systems and processes to reduce manual work and make workflows more scalable.
  • Resolve discrepancies, work through ambiguity, and keep financial operations moving independently.
  • Build simple, effective processes that improve visibility and reduce errors across the finance stack.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in accounting or finance with strong foundational training.
  • Degree-qualified in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience handling revenue, billing, invoicing, or reconciliation.
  • Experience working in fast-moving, ambiguous, or unstructured environments such as startups, scaleups, or consulting.
  • Comfort working with multi-party or performance-based revenue flows such as marketplaces, affiliate, adtech, or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting processes, including AP, AR, and month-end close.
  • Ability to own processes end-to-end and remain accountable for outcomes.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to identify issues, resolve discrepancies independently, and work through ambiguity.
  • Experience with accounting tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
  • Clear and direct communication skills.
  • Nice to have: experience with affiliate platforms such as Impact, Rakuten, CJ, or Partnerize.
  • Nice to have: exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency environments.
  • Nice to have: background in adtech, marketplaces, or performance-based revenue models.
  • Nice to have: experience in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Strong preference for US West Coast-based candidates; open to other US locations for exceptional candidates.
  • Remote-first working style with a high degree of trust and ownership.
