Description

  • Measure and integrate mechanical and electrical components on heavy equipment.
  • Install and optimize on-equipment systems and network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and connectivity issues in the field.
  • Support deployments of new vehicles, control stations, and network systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and service visits at customer sites.
  • Work directly with mining and construction customers to complete installations within site constraints and safety conditions.
  • Travel to regional and occasional out-of-state customer sites for field work.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a technician or mechanic role.
  • Experience in mining, construction, mechanical, automotive, or other industrial fields.
  • Experience integrating mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including rework and splicing.
  • Ability to use electrical test instruments such as a multimeter and continuity tester.
  • Comfort working from technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency with computers, including email, chat tools, spreadsheets, and documentation.
  • Comfort using power tools and performing mechanical assemblies.
  • Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working on heavy equipment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50%+ to customer sites, including periodic out-of-state travel.
  • Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Strong work ethic and accountability.
  • Ability to use CAD platforms (bonus).
  • Understanding of electrical diagram platforms (bonus).
  • Comfortable configuring computers and networks (bonus).
