Description

  • Design and implement advanced security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and networks.
  • Lead threat modeling exercises and security design reviews for high-impact systems and services.
  • Develop detection mechanisms, incident response playbooks, and remediation strategies.
  • Automate security operations, including monitoring, alerting, and vulnerability management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security into development pipelines and platform architecture.
  • Provide technical direction and hands-on expertise in securing Tekion’s platforms.
  • Mentor junior security engineers and support technical growth across the security team.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure protection.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Deep experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure security services and infrastructure hardening.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, such as Python, Bash, and Terraform.
  • Proficiency with security tools such as SIEMs, IDS/IPS, SAST/DAST, and WAFs.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
