Description

  • Lead the full lifecycle of complex Tableau dashboards, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Translate advanced analytical models into intuitive visualizations for executive and operational users.
  • Establish visualization standards and ensure accurate, compliant reporting aligned with media industry requirements.
  • Architect scalable Tableau data sources optimized for performance across large media datasets.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to define and refine data models for reporting.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for advanced Tableau features, data blending, parameters, and performance tuning.
  • Partner with Advertising Sales, Marketing, Content Strategy, and Finance to gather reporting requirements and KPIs.
  • Mentor junior developers on data storytelling, dashboard design, SQL optimization, and BI governance.
  • Design, build, and support a BI portal environment using Apache Tomcat, PHP, and JavaScript.
  • Develop custom BI applications that wrap Tableau reports and integrate the BI portal with backend AI agents.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence development.
  • At least 5 years of enterprise Tableau experience.
  • Deep experience in the Media, Entertainment, Publishing, or Ad-Tech industries.
  • Expert proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud administration and governance.
  • Advanced SQL skills for complex querying, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or AWS Redshift.
  • Strong data modeling skills for BI reporting efficiency.
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting a BI portal environment using Apache Tomcat, PHP, and JavaScript.
  • Experience developing custom BI applications using Tableau APIs.
  • Experience integrating BI portals with backend AI agents via text prompts.
  • Current Tableau Certified Professional or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with ad-tech platforms such as Google Ad Manager, DSPs, and SSPs preferred.
  • Familiarity with audience measurement tools such as Nielsen or Comscore preferred.
  • Experience with PHP, JavaScript, and/or Python for BI portal or data wrangling work preferred.
