Description

  • Lead discipline-specific design, coordination, and documentation efforts on complex multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Serve as Project Lead on selected projects and own scope alignment, profitability, and project health monitoring.
  • Provide technical leadership, design reviews, QA/QC, and sound engineering judgment to improve project outcomes.
  • Document client-specific processes, deviations, design decisions, meeting notes, and updates in the Design Decision Log and project tools.
  • Collaborate with Project Leads, Group Leads, Team Leads, and cross-discipline teammates to resolve coordination issues and maintain standards.
  • Mentor engineers, Designers, and production team members through coaching, feedback, and structured performance input.
  • Support client relationships through clear communication, business reviews, strategic discussions, and reliable follow-through.
  • Contribute to pursuits, interviews, fee proposals, and technical narratives that support new work.
  • Identify risks early, recommend adjustments, and maintain visibility into schedules, staffing assumptions, and financial performance.
  • Contribute to standards, templates, workflows, Pull Requests, and internal knowledge-sharing to improve TEECOM’s systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with strong discipline-specific capability.
  • Experience delivering coordinated, high-quality designs and making sound discipline-level decisions.
  • Ability to lead discipline-specific portions of complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal oversight.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination requirements.
  • Experience contributing to documentation updates, design standards, and QA/QC workflows through GitHub or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications preferred: PSP and/or CPP for Security, CDT, EIT plus PE, or PMP.
  • Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Occasional travel to client sites for meetings, surveys, inspections, or site walks.
  • Ability to perform prolonged desk work and occasional field activities such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, or kneeling.
