Description

  • Author and maintain automated UI and API tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Use agentic AI tools to plan tests, generate code, triage failures, and review pull requests, validating all outputs before release.
  • Triage nightly regression and smoke-test runs, distinguish product defects from environment or test issues, and file actionable bug reports.
  • Maintain test integrity by linking failures to known bugs, restoring tests after fixes, and preventing skipped or masked defects.
  • Run and maintain test suites in GitHub Actions, keeping CI pipelines reliable, efficient, and trustworthy.
  • Maintain traceability of test cases in test-management tooling.
  • Deliver small application bug fixes and improvements in the shared product monorepo through standard pull-request workflows.
  • Review teammates’ test pull requests and address review feedback with evidence.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners across a distributed team.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in software testing, QA automation, or software development.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, or demonstrated ability to learn programming languages quickly.
  • Understanding of web applications and HTTP APIs, including requests and responses, status codes, JSON, and authentication.
  • Interest and practical comfort with AI-assisted engineering, combined with critical verification of AI-generated output.
  • Excellent written English for prompts, test plans, bug reports, and review comments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate reporting.
  • Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium (preferred).
  • Experience building or maintaining shared test frameworks, including fixtures, page objects, helpers, and CI integration (preferred).
  • Experience with financial services, trading, capital markets, digital assets, or blockchain (preferred).
  • Experience with WebSockets, real-time data, SQL/PostgreSQL, GitHub Actions or similar CI tools, or performance testing tools such as k6 or JMeter (preferred).
