Description

  • Lead and develop a team of Project Managers, providing clear communication, motivation, and succession planning.
  • Own high-impact programmes and portfolios from scoping through delivery and closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams at all levels.
  • Ensure programmes and projects are expertly scoped, planned, and delivered to agreed milestones.
  • Deliver programmes on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Work with Finance and PMO to maintain accurate financial control, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Support bids, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
  • Run programmes in line with Target’s frameworks, ensuring compliance, control, and responsible risk management.
  • Report progress, escalate risks, and embed lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote lean delivery, high performance, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • PM qualification such as APM, Prince2, or equivalent.
  • Experience leading projects using both Waterfall and Agile delivery approaches.
  • Strong programme and project scheduling skills, including MS Project.
  • Track record of delivering work on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Experience developing and leading PMs and Programme Managers.
  • Experience working with KPIs and resource management.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets.
  • Experience delivering in outsourced or Financial Services environments (nice to have).
  • BPO experience or offshore team collaboration (nice to have).
  • Exposure to ISO/CMMI, Agile qualifications, or MSP certification (nice to have).
