Description

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for lending and retention aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Balance product innovation with portfolio health, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with Finance and Capital Markets to support sustainable and diversified funding strategies.
  • Translate portfolio and product performance into narratives for investors and regulators.
  • Own the customer lifecycle across acquisition, underwriting, disbursement, repayment, and re-engagement.
  • Design retention initiatives that increase repeat usage, loyalty, and customer lifetime value.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product team focused on lending and retention.
  • Identify and implement improvements to repayments and recoveries performance.
  • Build a product strategy that works globally while adapting to local market, cultural, and regulatory needs.
  • Establish KPIs and use data, experimentation, and customer insights to improve performance and unit economics.
  • Partner cross-functionally with risk, operations, finance, marketing, design, and engineering to deliver strong financial and social outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for new credit features, loyalty programs, and adjacent financial products.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of product leadership experience, ideally in fintech, lending, digital banking, or consumer financial services.
  • Proven track record of scaling lending or retention products in high-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of credit dynamics, risk management, and unit economics.
  • Experience leading global, cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and operations.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with expertise in experimentation, A/B testing, and customer insights.
  • Ability to operate strategically at both vision and execution levels.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with executive teams, investors, and regulators.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with deep empathy for underserved populations and emerging markets.
  • Champion of diversity, inclusion, and mission-driven culture.
  • Experience with capital markets or funding initiatives is preferred.
