Description

  • Manage new patient intake calls and gather brief medical histories, prior provider details, and insurance information.
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and track clinical appointments according to protocol and care team direction.
  • Document member calls, texts, and other correspondence in scheduling and care platforms.
  • Partner with the care team to complete visit-related tasks and support member care workflows.
  • Request, obtain, and review medical records from health plans, external providers, and organizations.
  • Collect completed member forms, including consents and HIPAA forms.
  • Conduct eligibility checks and support referral-related coordination.
  • Manage faxing, mailing, printing, and outgoing member communications as needed.
  • Generate and communicate standard reports and complete assigned operational tasks.
  • Complete FMLA forms and other administrative support duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations.
  • Medical Assistant experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience handling and reviewing medical records.
  • Experience coordinating and managing referrals.
  • Experience in a startup or rapidly growing organization preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience with EHR systems, Mac, and Google tools.
  • Experience communicating with patients, including scheduling and coordinating care.
  • Basic knowledge of frequently prescribed medications.
